The brainchild of jewellery designer Cash Ru and one of the six winners of 2018s On-Air Contest the Air Max 97 OA Shanghai Kaleidoscope builds on a white base and utilises bold blue panels to create an impression of the clouds floating along Shanghai’s skyline as they shift and dissipate to develop new forms and shapes. With an ultra comfy Air unit down below which helps to emphasise the shoe’s cloud-like properties. Cash Ru has been able to create a very personal take on the Air Max 97 while still being representative of Shanghai, this refreshing take on the silhouette blends modern and contemporary elements with the use of double tongue tabs and triple heel tabs for a look that’s bound to turn heads for many years to come. No one can argue how pretty it looks.
