Dropping alongside 3 other variants; ‘Blue,’ ‘Snakeskin,’ and ‘Red’, conceived by the conglomeration of Nike and Supreme the April 2016 release of the Air Max 98 x Supreme Black is one hell of a shoe. Reigniting a retro silhouette, right on trend with its chunky dad shoe aesthetic, the designers have combined a black mesh and patent leather upper with a black full-length Air unit and black rubber outsole. With this create an almost triple black product only separated from that by its varsity red innersole, a nod to the Supreme contributors who helped make this shoe a success. The Air Max 98 x Supreme Black is a vintage Nike classic that has been filled with modern appeal, the collaboration with Supreme is essentially a rap verse on the end of a pop song and how can you be mad at that?
