Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Chunky Dunky

If you could taste a kick, these kicks would taste delicious. Frequent collaborators Nike are always looking for new associates but I don’t think anyone could argue that this project with Ice Cream tycoon Ben & Jerry’s is one of their more niche to date. Combining flavours for this aptly named “Chunky Dunky”, this design finds itself imprinted on the iconic and surging Nike SB Dunk Silhouette, a shoe that is very much back in the spotlight in 2020. Having already sent sneakerheads everywhere into rapture with its promotional material, which included its friends and family exclusive giant pint packaging, and web breaking viral video featuring Hikmet Sugoer eating actual ice cream from the interior of the shoes. It is safe to say this shoe is going to be an incredibly hot property, something that is only reflected further by its newly implemented draw system. Of course aesthetically the shoe lives upto the hype, arriving as everything you’d expect from a collaboration of this magnitude, implementing a mixed material composition, including a cow print pony hair element which claims the majority of plaudits pre release.
